As the weather warms I switch my attention to keeping our oceans and waterways clean by reducing and reusing single-use plastic.

Single-use plastic bags often wash up on our shores, blow around our sidewalks or arrive at our doorsteps encasing goods from the market. I transform these used plastic bags into unique reusable hand-crocheted bags. Built on a commitment to regeneration, waste reduction, creativity and taking action, each piece embraces the quirks, and character of the material. Each bag keeps 40 to 70 plastic bags out of the waste stream.
